1980
LELCO Electric began as a modest trading company, starting with a pick-up truck to sell electrical accessories door to door, and initially partnered with the renowned Australian brand, Clipsal.
1998
Ventured into manufacturing to meet market demand in Jatake, Tangerang.
This facility has since expanded to 68,000 m2.
2008
The 9-story LELCO building in Jakarta was inaugurated as our new headquarters. It features a showroom experience center, an R&D center, among other facilities.
2010
LELCO aggressively expanded into the export market, broadening its reach by exporting lighting and electrical products to global markets. With South East Asia, Japan and Australia as its main market.
2017
LELCO held a record-breaking event featuring over 200 global artists transforming switches into unique pieces of art. This creative initiative earned recognition from MURI (Indonesian World Record Museum) for its scale and impact.

Founded in 1980, we were the pioneer in the marketing and distribution of Lighting and Electrical Accessories in Indonesia. In 1998, we expanded into manufacturing in our 68,000 m2 factory which is located only 30 minutes from the heart of Jakarta, equipped with state-of-the-art machineries and laboratory testing facilities, capable of fabricating Lelco's wide range of lighting and electrical products.
With our vertically integrated company structure, we are able to provide our clients with high quality products, at affordable pricing and prompt delivery to support medium to large scale construction projects.

When I founded Lelco in 1980, Indonesia’s lighting and electrical market was still in its early stages. I saw an opportunity—not just to distribute products, but to shape an industry. From a small operation focused on quality imports, Lelco has grown into a group with a robust manufacturing base, a trusted name across the country, and a clear mission: to deliver seamless solutions where light and control enhance spaces and elevate experiences.
